I have also been unable to access the letterboxing.org or the atlasquest.com sites for the past week or so. I contacted my ISP today, and was informed that the webmasters may have made some type of security change which is blocking the sites to my specific local server. I am trying to contact both sites to see what can be done about this. The fellow at the helpdesk could not access the sites even (it is a small local internet server). If anyone reading this knows what might be going on, please let me know as I am fairly computer competent, but not a great wizard at it.

Yes . . . was going to go letterboxing last weekend but was unable to access both the letterboxing and atlasquest sites. Too bad, it was a beautiful Sunday!

For anyone interested in what happened....I spoke with the new website host company last night. Apparently, they had a glich in their systems that was blocking some servers from accessing the letterboxing.org and atlasquest.com sites (same host company), and they were working on it. Both sites are up and running today, so hopefully this will not happen again!

I can access the pages, but i cannot login on letterboxing.org.
Anyone have any thoughts on why that is? I even requested a new
password thinking I wasn't remembering the password, but even the
new random one assigned to me didn't work. :(

Yeah, I am having troubles also. I can open clue pages at
letterboxing.org but I can't add finds to my account. I click on the
flag, add the info. and then get this message:
Database error: Invalid SQL: INSERT INTO Found
(BoxID,MemberID,dateFound,datim,type,numBoxes) VALUES (6056, , '2005-
04-19', '2005-04-21', 'Found', '1')
MySQL Error: 1064 (You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the
manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right
syntax to use near ' '2005-04-19', '2005-04-21', 'Found', '1')' at
line 2)
Session halted.

Try atlasquest again or email the webmaster. I was having trouble
registering yesterday and I emailed the webmaster and he fixed the
problem in a jiffy. It was code related.

Cheers, Robin

That is a programming error, since the MemberID isn't being included
in the list of values. Probably, I suspect because you aren't really
logged in so there is no member ID to put in there. Regardless, it's
something the webmaster should be able fix, though they folks running
letterboxing.org actually have a day job, so it might take them a bit
longer to get around to fixing it. ;o) Just be patient, though, I'm
sure it'll get fixed!

Sounds like a bug alright. I've been travelling the last couple days, but I
should be able to fix it today.

Am I the only one who has never had a problem logging into LBNA or
Atlasquest? (Now I probably jinxed myself.)

That's it! I'll make sure you have troubles the next time you log
into AQ if you're feeling left out.... *evil grin* =)

Just kidding. Less you really want me to make it more of a challenge
for you? *hopeful look* =)
